Rules

The EA Golf Tour will consist of 12 official tournaments, played at different golf courses across Europe throughout the season.

Each tournament will run over two or three days, depending on the format and characteristics of each venue.

Players may enter as many events as they wish. There is no maximum limit on the number of tournaments played during the season.

The EA Golf Tour will have a single open category.

Amateur players holding an official, active Handicap Index issued or recognized by a national federation affiliated with the World Handicap System may take part.

The maximum Handicap Index allowed to compete will be 18.0.

Players with a Handicap Index above 18.0 may take part only with the express authorization of the organization, but will compete with a maximum handicap of 18.0.

All events will be played under the Stroke Play Handicap format.

Each tournament's main classification will be determined by the accumulated net score across all rounds played.

In addition, every event will have a Scratch classification, based on each player's accumulated gross score, with no handicap applied.

The organization may set qualifying cuts when the number of participants, the tournament format, or venue conditions require it. The existence and conditions of any cut must be announced before the start of each event.

All competitions will be played under the current Rules of Golf approved by The R&A and the United States Golf Association, together with:

• The Local Rules established by the host club.
• The specific conditions of each competition.
• The provisions published by the EA Golf Tour Competition Committee.

In case of conflict, the conditions of competition and the Local Rules published specifically for each tournament will prevail, provided they are compatible with the Rules of Golf.

Each tournament will award points toward the EA Golf Tour overall ranking.

The number of points earned by each player will depend on:

• Their final position in the classification.
• The total number of participants in the tournament.
• The category of the event.
• Whether the tournament has Major status.

Tournaments with larger fields may award more points than those with fewer players.

The full points distribution system will be published before the start of the season and will be applied uniformly across all events.

Certain tournaments on the calendar will be designated as EA Golf Tour Majors.

Majors will award a higher number of points through a specific multiplier applied to the tournament's ordinary points.

Major status and the applicable multiplier will be announced in the official calendar before registration opens.

The season's overall ranking will be calculated by adding up the points earned in each player's five best performances.

Players may enter an unlimited number of events, but only their five best results will count toward the final classification.

Once a player has played more than five tournaments, a new result will only change their total score if it beats one of the five results currently being counted.

The main overall classification will be based on points earned in the Handicap competition.

The Tour may also maintain a parallel Scratch overall ranking, using the same counting-events system and the points distribution corresponding to each event's Scratch classification.

In the event of a tie for first place at the end of a tournament, a sudden-death playoff will be held.

The playoff will begin on the hole designated in advance by the Competition Committee. Whenever course conditions and availability allow, the starting hole will be the 18th.

Tied players will replay the hole or sequence of holes set by the Committee until a winner is determined.

In the Handicap classification, handicap strokes will be applied during the playoff according to each hole's stroke index and the published conditions of competition.

Ties in all other positions will be resolved by scorecard comparison, applied in the following order:

1. The score for the last 18 holes.
2. The score for the last 9 holes.
3. The score for the last 6 holes.
4. The score for the last 3 holes.
5. The score for the last hole.
6. A draw, if the tie still persists.

In the event of a tie in points at the end of the season, the higher position will go to the player who has achieved, in this order:

1. The greater number of wins.
2. The greater number of runner-up finishes.
3. The best result achieved in a Major.
4. The highest score achieved in a single tournament.
5. The best result in the season's final tournament.
6. The best accumulated Scratch result across the five counting events.

If the tie still persists, the EA Golf Tour Committee will establish the definitive tie-break procedure.

The Handicap Index used in each tournament will be the player's official Handicap Index on the closing date and time established for the competition.

The Playing Handicap will be calculated according to the World Handicap System, the course slope, the tees used, and the conditions of competition.

The organization reserves the right to review any participant's handicap when there are reasonable grounds to believe it does not correctly reflect their level of play.

Deliberate manipulation of a handicap, the submission of incorrect information, or any conduct intended to gain an unfair advantage may result in:

• Adjustment of the result.
• Loss of points.
• Disqualification from the tournament.
• Temporary suspension.
• Permanent exclusion from the EA Golf Tour.

Each tournament will have a Competition Committee responsible for:

• Applying the Rules of Golf and the conditions of competition.
• Resolving incidents and complaints.
• Establishing Local Rules.
• Determining the tie-break procedure.
• Modifying the format when weather conditions or exceptional circumstances arise.
• Suspending, shortening, or cancelling a tournament when necessary.

The Committee's decisions will be final within the scope of the competition, without prejudice to any review procedures established by the organization.

The EA Golf Tour reserves the right to amend these rules whenever necessary for sporting, organizational, legal, or force majeure reasons.

Any relevant change will be communicated to participants and published through the Tour's official channels.
